Cupping Therapy:
Cupping therapy includes uniquely designed rubber or plastic cups that are being placed on the skin to create sucktion. This process allows lactic acid and toxins to outright on the skin’s surface. Mark on the skin’s surface is common which will disappear in a few days. Mark will typically be lost in 10-12 days but can also be gone in a week.
Types of Cupping:
Fire cupping is one of the oldest therapy, that has been done with glass cups. That includes suction by creating the negative pressure inside the cups with the fire. The therapist rapidly puts the cup on the patient skin. Because cups are not even touched by the fire itself, and cups don’t get hot. To make it more comfortable the therapist adjusts the suction of the cups manually.
Pneumatic
cupping has taken over the fire cupping or can be said that known as pneumatic
cupping. To create suction it includes removal of the air inside the cups using
a pneumatic pump/air pump. The therapist let the air out through the valve on
the cups there is no need for fire.
